Ori and the Will of the Wisps
The second part of the metroidvania series, in which the players play the title ghost. In Ori and the Will of the Wisps, the protagonist leaves Nibel forest to discover his true destiny as he travels through an exotic world.

Ori and the Will of the Wisps is the second installment in a series of metroidvania games developed by Moon Studios. The game was released within the framework of the Xbox Play Anywhere program, which means that when you players purchase the console version of the game they also get the PC version for free (and vice versa).

In Ori and the Will of the Wisps players once again assume the role of the titular Ori. This time around, young ghost goes outside the Nibel forest to discover his true destiny. Although there are many threats awaiting him in the exotic world, there are also allies who will gladly reach out a helping hand.

The gameplay in Ori and the Will of the Wisps is based on the formula known from the installment in the series. During the game, players observe the action from the side perspective, jumping between the platforms and avoiding traps and chasms. As befits a metroidvania game, the individual locations merge to form a vast labyrinth-like map. However, in order to gain access to many of these locations, it is necessary to solve environmental puzzles, gain certain powers, and learn skills that allow opening closed passages.

Authors have developed a new, more dynamic combat system for the game. The hero encounters both regular opponents and much more powerful bosses, which he has to eliminate using spiritual weapons, spells, and combat skills. In addition, as the story progresses, Ori learns new attacks and spells as well as unlocks new skills so that over time he can face more and more challenges. Regardless of this, however, the game features high difficulty level (just like its predecessor).
