Описание: Back in 1892 the Slater Industrial Academy was founded in Winston-Salem to educate and train the children and descendants of freed slaves. The school later became known as the Winston-Salem State Teachers college as its focus evolved to prepare teachers for segregated schools. Today, Winston-Salem State University is poised and prepared for a new and "enterprising" way of thinking.
