Thug X Hunter Season 2 Opening 2

Описание: (Opening is lost media found from the thug hunter anime (1999).) SPOILERS: After a thorough analysis of this opening, I have noticed the references from the show in this opening. For example, one of the hunted thugs, Stormy, is shown to have trauma from the fight in Part 1 of Season 2. However, he is later shown to have a fight with the king, which shows his growth as a character. No matter the trauma he may face, he will never forget his dream, which is to stop the international hunting of thugs. Another example is Dreamy’s growth as a character. After the apple poison kills Dreamy’s evil alter ego, Ambatukhan, he finally realises the pain he has caused to the hunted thugs, which brings him immense grief. Also, the opening is very persistent in showing how the hunters have affected the earth after their huntings. The main hunter, Hunter Logan, is almost shown as a biblical figure; his presence not only brings fear to the hunted but also affects the stability of the opening.
 
I personally believe this opening is about Stormy’s loss of identity and memory and his recollection of them through taking action on his fears. This is shown through many ways. First off, at the start, you can see Stormy breaking down into simplistic shapes, showing his loss of identity and then his cherished memories are shown in a white void; his memories about the simplicities of life are all that he has ever cherished. This shows that Stormy’s motivation is not only to keep the world the same as it once was, but it also shows how he values his friendship too. Basically, the erasion scene depersonalises him and then the white void scene shows that even if he cannot understand himself, his motivations are still clear: his friends and the destruction of the hunters. The next important scene is at the end, where he learns to not fear Hunter Logan any longer. Stormy has an epiphany about his feelings: Hunter Logan works for a bigger organisation and yet he does selfish actions for his own pleasure. Rather than Stormy fearing him, he comes to see his actions as pathetic. Logan has everything a man can buy and yet he goes out of his way to harm the weak, and so Stormy musters up the courage to fight with Logan once more, to end his life.
 
Overall, this anime is a masterpiece of lost media; it is truly interesting to see the psyche of the genius who wrote this. This anime has not only spoken to me but has also changed my life as a whole.
