On June 25, the vice-chairman of Singapore's ruling People's Action Party (PAP) Masagos Zulkifli introduced another four prospective candidates for the upcoming general election. He pointed to their varied and interesting journeys in life, and said he's sure they will add to the need for "very different viewpoints" in the party. The candidates are: Yeo Wan Ling, who spent over a decade with the Economic Development Board; Alvin Tan Sheng Hui, head of public policy and economics at LinkedIn; senior polytechnic lecturer Wan Rizal Wan Zakariah and former civil servant Eric Chu.
