Jesus ate the Last Supper with his 12 disciples on the night before His crucifixion.
The festival of Passover involved the sacrifice of a lamb for every family in commemoration of the release of the Hebrew people from 400 years of slavery in Egypt.
The Lambs were always sacrificed on the same day each year (Exodus 12).
The Bible says that Jesus is God's Passover Lamb, and His death was carefully planned to occur at the time of the Passover lamb sacrifice.
Jesus apparently celebrated Passover every year of His life.
There was no way to get a Passover lamb on the evening before the sacrifice.
Yet, Luke 22 says that Jesus planned a Passover meal with his disciples, The Last Supper.
How could Jesus have a Passover meal on the evening BEFORE the sacrifice?
Many think this exposes an irreconcilable contradiction in the Gospels of the New Testament.
