Today, Dr. Ibrahim talked about cinnamon, known as Darchini (or Dalchini) in many parts of the world. He shared how this spice works as a (uzlati) muscular-strengthening compound that benefits your entire body, including red blood cells and the gland system (dalchini ke fayde). For those lacking courage or strength (but not suffering from constipation), adding a pinch of Darchini to morning and evening tea can gradually build bravery (dalchini ki chai). Interestingly, cinnamon can both cause and cure constipation depending on the situation - taking a quarter teaspoon with cold water can stop unwanted bowel movements (loose motion) when you're heading out.
Dr. Ibrahim highlighted cinnamon's unique property of containing both iron and copper values, though cautioning that those with elevated levels of these minerals should avoid it. He suggested making a potent mixture by combining cinnamon powder with pink salt, and noted its benefits for people with diabetes when mixed with wheat flour for bread.
For those with loose or sagging skin, Dr. Ibrahim recommended applying cinnamon powder as a scrub paste during bathing to tighten skin and improve appearance (darchini se chaiyon/acne scars ka ilaj). While cinnamon offers numerous benefits, he warned that people with high blood pressure, fibroids, or cancer should avoid it.
