Bihar News: BJP Leader Dies Amid Clash With Police In Patna Over Govt’s Teacher Recruitment Policy

Описание: Bihar News: Bharatiya Janata Party leader from Jehanabad died, allegedly during a police lathi charge, while participating in a protest by his party against the Bihar government’s teacher recruitment policy On July 13. The BJP also alleged dozens of its leaders and workers were injured when they tried to cross police barriers and march towards the Vidhan Sabha. BJP Rajya Sabha MP Sushil Kumar Modi first declared that the party’s Jehanabad district general secretary, Vijay Kumar Singh had died in the police lathi-charge. The BJP has been protesting against the Nitish Kumar-led Mahagathbandhan government and in support of the teachers’ demand to immediately fill vacancies and restore the domicile clause.
