The new Maruti Suzuki Baleno facelift is here, and in this video, we compare the old and new Baleno to find out what has changed, what has been upgraded, and whether it is worth buying. The facelift brings changes to the front grille, fog lamps, cladding, shark-fin antenna, and other exterior elements. Inside the cabin, it gets updates such as ventilated seats, a revised wireless charging setup, and an auto-dimming IRVM. The new Alpha Optional variant also introduces ADAS features, making the Baleno more feature-oriented than before.

One of the biggest changes is under the hood. The older Baleno came with the 1.2L K12N four-cylinder engine, known for its smoothness, refinement, and reliable performance. The new model gets the 1.2L Z12E three-cylinder engine, which aims to improve fuel efficiency but brings noticeable differences in engine sound, vibration, and overall driving feel.
