lago vista is a small town north of Austin at the north end of lake travis. It has always been a quiet small lake community that has been growing at record paces for the last couple of years. Living in Lago Vista, Texas offers a ton of outdoor activities for everyone. If you live within the Property Owners Association you have access to 9 different parks, 3 with boat ramps and tons of playground options for the kids. You have a indoor/outdoor fishing well, pools, ball fields and even frisbee golf. Lago Vista also has a 18 hole golf course and a second 9 hole course just down the road in Point Venture.

Home prices are relatively affordable and the market has leveled out in Lago Vista. I moved my family out here to take advantage of the outdoor activities and to be closer to my family who have lived out here for almost 20 years.

If the 9 parks aren't enough, you also have Balcones Nature Reserve and Arkansas Bend Park that offer additional options.

As for the food and stores, Lago Vista, Texas has a small grocery store and a handful of restaurants with a variety of different choices. I am waiting to confirm but McDonalds may also be adding their name to Lago Vista.
