Prayer of Trust and Surrender to Jesus

Lord Jesus,
I remember the love you’ve shown me, and I say, "I love You, my Lord Jesus." You have done great and mighty things in my life, walking with me through difficult times, always in control. Even when storms rage against me, I trust that my boat will not sink because You are with me. You are the captain of my life.

Lord Jesus, I repent of my shortcomings and say, "Edify me, my Lord Jesus." I confess that, despite Your promises, I often carry fear in my heart about things beyond my control. I am sorry, Lord, for allowing fear to overshadow my trust in You. Cleanse me, calm my heart, and remind me that You are greater than all my troubles, needs, and fears. Edify me today, my Lord, and help me live a fearless life with the blessed hope that my Redeemer lives!

I renounce my self-ego and say, "Not I, but You, my Lord Jesus." I acknowledge the days when my fears dominate and rob me of peace. But I earnestly seek Your will, Lord. Help me to overcome fear and trust in Your plans for me. Today, I deny my fears and surrender them to You, knowing You hold my future.

Lord Jesus, I relinquish to Your divine will and say, “Thy will in my life, my Lord Jesus.” Thank You for always protecting me and carrying me through every uncertain situation. I commit myself to Your will this day and throughout my life. Strengthen me to face challenges with confidence, knowing You are always by my side.

In this Lenten season, I place my trust in You completely. Help me to live without fear, resting in the assurance of Your presence, knowing You will never leave me. Amen.
