The Characteristics of Godly Wisdom in Action



First Pure: the absence of any sinful attitude or motive

Then Peaceable: gentle and kind, although in reality has every reason to be stern. Blessed are the peacemakers for they Shall be called sons of God.

Gentle: This is the person who is gentle, a person who knows when it is actually wrong to apply the strict letter of the law. This person knows how to forgive when strict justice gives them a perfect right to condemn. This word has been called “sweet reasonableness.

Willing to yield: not stubborn or obstinate, opposite of being stiff and unbending, willing to listen to reason into appeal, not rigid, but willing, skilled in knowing when to yield.

Full of Mercy: does not judge others, strictly on the basis of law, extends a generous handful of mercy. This type of wisdom knows the same measure of mercy we grant to others is the same measure God will use with us.

Full of good fruits: this wisdom is what is seen in the life’s actions, it’s not inner strength and power or thinking it is actions of that thinking.

Without partiality: this wisdom is nonjudgmental, doesn’t even try to look for matters to accuse.

Without hypocrisy: there is no acting involved in this, no masks, only seeking God‘s glory,

These last two words- without-partiality and without-hypocrisy is having nothing in mind no ulterior motives, no hidden meanings. Pure.
