How to renew the long-run residency step by step
Once you have your renewal appointment, you will have to submit the following documents at the immigration office:
Application form EX-19
Empadronamiento (in case you have changed your address)
NIE card (the one you want to renew and which is now expired) and a copy of it
Original passport (must be valid)
Proof that you have paid the corresponding fee, form 790-012 ( I forgot to mention on the video. It cost me 12€)
Updated passport photo

IMPORTANT NOTE for Renewals of NIE, as a family member of an EU citizen.
-For resolution application with Officina de Extranjeros you can apply only when your NIE card validity is less than 2 months OR it is within months of its expiry.
-For fingerprints with CNP Policia you can only go when your previous NIE has been expired. i.e., it's run out of the date that is mentioned on it. They will refuse to take your fingerprints if your previous NIE card is still valid (even for just 1 day). So better be safe.
