SIR operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, providing local service between St. George and Tottenville. During AM Rush Hours The SIR Runs nonstop Express from New Dorp to St. George Ferry. Then during PM Rush Hours The SIR Runs nonstop Express from St.George Ferry to Great Kills then it makes all local Stops to Tottenville all Local SIR Trains run and End at Great Kills along the island's east side. It is the only line on the island - no direct rail link between the SIR and the New York City Subway system.
