Just one small, uncomfortable step toward the life I’ve been saying I want to live.

For many of us who have been the strong one — the dependable one — the person who holds everything together… choosing ourselves doesn’t always come naturally.

We get used to doing what’s needed, what’s expected, what’s responsible.
And somewhere along the way, we stop asking what we actually want.

This year, I had to ask myself a simple but honest question:
What am I still waiting for to fully live my life the way I want to live it?

This moment wasn’t really about paperwork.

It was about permission.
Permission to choose myself.
Permission to move forward even with fear present.
Permission to take one step — not all the steps at once.
