Most people throw away the corn husks. Dorothy Headrick of Rossville, Ga. weaves them into beautiful bags. Dorothy and her husband, Herman are the kind of people who see beauty and purpose in everything. She was already known as a master weaver around Walker County and Northwest Georgia. She was curious about corn husks, so she tried them. The results were surprising so she kept weaving. While Dorothy is weaving Herman is crafting corn husks brushes and mops. This is country crafts at its' best. This story aired on WSB-TV Channel 2 Action News in 1976.
