1970 Otis Lexan Hydraulic ELevators #1 & 2 at The Wyndham Cleveland Airport in Cleveland, OH

Located as this massive Marriott turned Wyndham property near the Cleveland Airport, we have some rather interesting Otis elevators! This hotel originally opened in 1970, and these elevators are located in the hotels "Courtyard" Building. Finding an Otis Lexan in such a massive hotel is not something you get to do very often, and while these elevators have had a partial fixture modernization, all that was done was the Original Lexan buttons got swapped out and replaced with Newer California code compliant Lexan buttons and in place of the Nixie Tube indicator is a digital indicator. In addition to that, the call stations were replaced with EPCO Inchline. Despite the upgrades however, these elevators still remains mostly original with its' original 70s Otis Dry Powered Hydraulic Pump Unit and very audible relays. While I do wish this was fully original, these elevators do still look vintage and it still has a lot of character and hopefully it won't go away anytime soon. Unfortunately the indicator on the elevator I rode in this bank didn't work and the other car was broken, but the elevator I rode ran beautifully and had an incredible motor!
