A Sydney family has been caught on camera planting hair on an expensive tomahawk steak at The Rocks restaurant Pony in an elaborate scheme to avoid paying their bill.
The veteran head chef Neil Nolan, who has run the restaurant "Pony" for 20 years, says the wife's tears were part of an "Academy Award winning performance" and that restaurants across Sydney are now on alert.
