How to Apply Formic Acid to Control Varroa Destructor

40 ml of 60 % formic acid is poured in a vaporizer per hive.
Temperature range for application is 15 °C - 25 °C. If the temperature is higher than 25 °C, apply the formic acid in the evening when it get's cooler. You can apply it once or twice in a period of 15 days. There isn't a withdrawal period, so you can use it when ever you want. If you are using other treatments (like medicated strips) it's not recommended to use formic acid at the same time.
