In this video, I’ll show you how to find the four radii of a regular tetrahedron — all using only the Sketcher workbench in FreeCAD . No 3D modeling, no Part Design — just pure 2D geometric construction.
We’ll explore:
What the four main radii of a regular tetrahedron are: circumradius, midradius, inradius, and height.
How to define them using only constraints and relations in the Sketcher.
A clean and robust workflow that keeps everything parametric and fully editable.
This is a follow-up to a challenge I proposed recently, and now I’m showing my own approach — without voiceover, but step by step so you can follow along and understand every move.
If you're into geometry, parametric design, or want to push what’s possible with just the Sketcher, this video is for you.
