Mitigating high B+ voltages by installing a wirewound resistor from the power transformer center tap to ground as a result of the power supply circuit change years back when someone converted the Farm radio powered from 6 volts to AC mains.
In addition, substituting a repaired 6" loudspeaker for the defective one with the open Field Coil and Output Transformer primary winding.
