The splendid St John the Evangelist's Church stands in Over, a suburb of Winsford in the county of Cheshire. It is an active Anglican parish church in the diocese and archdeaconry of Chester and the deanery of Middlewich. The magnificent spire at the west end is 140 feet (43 m) high. Designed by the Chester architect John Douglas.
