P.S. Once I unboxed/unbagged everything, a quick glance shows that there were no subs/carriers in the base game (mostly frigates, cruisers, destroyers, etc.), so it appears if you want to play sub or carrier specific missions/campaigns, then you will need those expansions and the special rules, cards, displays, etc. that come with them.
