This project has been a very huge undertaking and I’m happy at how it’s all been working out. Working on each song, from the smallest of percussion sounds to the bounciest of piano chords has been great. But what’s even greater is hearing the voices of the collaborators — my friends, putting their heart and souls into the vocals so they can be overdubbed onto the tracks. Man, how you guys are going to love Side Two when it’s finished; which should see a release sometime late this summer? M.I.U always felt like the perfect summer album to me.

Anyways, thank you all for waiting patiently for this! I hope the wait wasn’t too long and that you enjoy the first half of this project that means a lot to me, my friends, and the other fans who enjoy M.I.U.
