What is generalized anxiety disorder?
Well, it is basically having anxiety without any reason for extended periods of time. The fight or flight mechanism is turned on and no you have a very difficult time of finding the “off switch” and this, needless to say, can be very painful and exhausting.
What are the symptoms of generalized anxiety disorder?
If you are wondering “what are the symptoms of GAD then here are the most common ones:
Excessive worry and tension that don’t want to go away
Chronic anxiety
A tendency to magnify every single problem
An edgy feeling and you are restless without knowing exactly why
You are often irritated for no reason you can think of
Very tired muscles
Having a sore head is also very common
Being too hot and sweating
You are having a hard time concentrating
How to overcome GAD:
In the video I talk about 6 tips that you can use to hopefully reduce your symptoms of GAD. Some of these tips have been very valuable when I myself wanted help for GAD.
