I had so much FUN performing on the Bubble Pops stage - overall I loved the experience of all the lights, neons, mist, and lasers! It felt so Idol-y , like my Idol dreams were really coming true ♡‧⁺◟( ᵒ̴̶̷̥́ ·̫ ᵒ̴̶̷̣̥̀ )

I hope to perform on lots of different kinds of stages, and this one was fun and excellent indeed!

I want to share a bit about why I chose each song ♪

✩ Moonlight Densetsu, the opening theme to Sailor Moon has been a part of my life since before I can remember. Though of course I grew up with the DiC dub’s translation - which is still iconic in it’s own right - I wanted to pay homage to the Magical Girl who started it all for me, Sailor Moon 🌙! I’m also in the middle of a Sailor Moon rewatch so when I was putting together this 2nd stage, I knew I wanted to sing it!

✩ Come by Namie Amuro is another Anime bop that I became rather obsessed with. When Inuyasha aired on CN’s adult swim in the middle of the night, it was infamous for waking people up due to the audio mixing, and every ending song was so beautiful and melodious, almost hypnotic! This was always my favorite one. It would stick in my head and I would become so obsessed with tracking it down and listening. It’s even the first song I added to my ipod shuffle! I’ve been listening to it a lot lately, and I thought a song featured in Sailor moon and a song featured in Inuyasha would really match the nostalgic but magical/ futuristic vibe I wanted to support this set!

✩ 𝕄𝕪𝕤𝕥𝕚𝕔 𝕄𝕒𝕘𝕚𝕔 ˖˚˳⌖ is my debut single♪! I love and adore this song! I’m so greatful to my producer Isabeau Dragmire for understanding exactly what I wanted to convey and translating all my prismatic pink heart healing energy into it! Mystic Magic is a song about senseing and purifying energy and I hope you can feel the magic transfer while I perform it for you!

It’s a coincidence that it complements my setlist of toonami/adult swim accessible J-pop music haha but I love that it worked out that way! I got a lil flustered but seriously enjoyed performing with a group of idols ( * ᵒ̴̶̷̥́ ·̫ ᵒ̴̶̷̣̥̀ * )!! I hope I can perform with a group again sometime ☆!!!
