On this day in 1861, Shri Rabindranath Tagore was born in the Bengal Presidency. His ground-breaking work as a poet, writer, and composer reshaped Bengali literature and music, as well as Indian and international art.
"A Tribute to Tagore” is a special project by #HindusthanRecord and #Neumann Studio as a tribute to the beloved Gurudev Tagore and his legacy. It includes "Anandaloke Mangalaloke," a spiritual composition based on Raaga Jhinjhit written in 1892.
Watch The Czech Studio Orchestra rejuvenate Tagore's Anandaloke Mangalaloke and Padaprante Rakho Sebake, both composed and penned by Tagore, conducted by Mikel Toms.
