Описание: Today I spoke with Tiffani Cappello, who shared her involvement with the Independent Fundamental Baptist Church, where instead of focusing on love, acceptance, reasoning, and logic, the primary messages were of self-denigration, worthlessness, and of how people are bad and broken.

We walked through her story, up through her eventual deconversion from Christianity, followed by her work to help others heal from religious trauma.

Tiffani has become a Women's Empowerment Coach, Clinical Hypnotherapist, and a Rapid Transformational Therapist. She runs the Transformed Women Academy, where she helps women address trauma and negative patterns, remove toxic stress, find happiness, and become empowered to do self-directed healing.

• The psychological effect of forcing yourself to believe that god is love, even though he does very unloving and abusive things.
• The idea that if god says he requires blood, and he is in charge, why he doesn't also have the power to change that requirement.

• The lack of peace that so many of us had as Christians, which we try to explain away.
