Описание: Welcome to an road trip to the chestnuts, from Flumserberg to Murg (Murgtal / Murg Valley) in the canton of St. Gallen. Enjoy the autumn atmosphere in the Swiss Alps on this road trip through the eastern part of Switzerland.

The tour starts at around 1,400 meters above sea level and leads down into the valley (at around 450 meters above sea level). Murg am Walensee is home to Switzerland's largest sweet chestnut forest north of the Alps. A 2.5 km trail leads from the village towards Murgtal through the chestnut forests. Visitors are allowed to pick up any chestnuts that are already lying on the ground along the Chestnut Trail.
