WALT DISNEY WORLD VLOG | Why You Shouldn't Lightning Lane Avatar Flight of Passage, Animal Kingdom

Описание: Welcome back to our Walt Disney World / Orlando Travel Series! This was such a fun day and probably one of our best vlogs yet. We spent a full day in Animal Kingdom, and the magic was magicing, the vibes were vibing.

We started the day, of course, with coffee. We headed straight to Joffrey’s because nothing starts a Disney day better than caffeine. Once we were caffeinated, we started things off with a slow walk around one of the animal trails — because what’s better than a coffee and seeing cute little animals? We headed straight for the Maharajah Jungle Trek with hopes of seeing the baby tiger, however… it was hiding again.

After this, we headed to Pandora. Even though this wasn’t our first time seeing it, we were still so taken back. It really is breathtaking. It was finally that time again to ride Flight of Passage. Last time we rode this we used Lightning Lane, and I feel like when you do Lightning Lane you actually miss a lot of the experience. So my recommendation is, if you have the time, wait. It’s 1000% worth it because you really do get transported to Pandora. It’s absolutely incredible what they’ve done. We of course came off feeling all the emotions. Does this ride make anyone else emotional?

After this, we headed to Africa and grabbed a drink before getting on Kilimanjaro Safaris. We finally tried Dole Whip — we had the Dole Whip Pineapple Orange Soda Float and omg, it was absolutely incredible. 100% recommend if you want something refreshing in Animal Kingdom.

It was then time for the safari. We do have to say that this time around we found the safari to be a completely different experience to the first time we went. This was much earlier in the day than the first time we did it, so I feel like there were way more animals out. Another top tip — go on the Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail as you get off the safari. It’s kind of like an extension of the safari and you can see some of the animals up close. The shots of the gorillas and hippos… wow.

After this we were hungry and it was time for some food. We headed back to the spot in Africa because we had been eyeing up one of the Dole Whip desserts, and let me tell you… it was absolutely delicious. It was the Pineapple Crisp Sundae. Just get it and try it for yourself because nothing compares to this. Khy also tried some African food, and then we headed over to Asia to ride Expedition Everest.

After that, we headed to Dinoland to ride Dinosaur for the very last time. Such an emotional moment saying goodbye to a favourite, but we were so grateful we got to ride it again.

After this, the vibes were vibing and we were just in YOLO mode. We not only decided that we were going to ride Flight of Passage again, but we were also going to head to EPCOT to ride Guardians of the Galaxy again. We were so excited because Flight of Passage dropped to a 25 minute wait… what?! It was honestly the perfect way to end our day at Animal Kingdom.

We then refuelled on caffeine and drove over to EPCOT to get in line for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. The last time I rode this I wasn’t feeling well, so I didn’t feel like I truly got to enjoy it, so I was so excited to ride it again. We also used Lightning Lane last time too, which meant we missed a lot of the experience again.

Honestly, we ended the day on such a high. 20k steps in the bag and ready for bed before another magical day.
