A road trip along WA’s Coral Coast is a must-do adventure! It’s one of the most stunning and diverse road trips we’ve ever taken, and we’re still in awe of the landscapes we explored! 🐠🐬

We recommend visiting between March and June or September to October!

We did this road trip in 10 days, but you could definitely do it in 7 if you have less time!

Here are the must-see spots on a Western Australia road trip starting and ending in Perth: 👇🏼🇦🇺

📍 Lancelin Sand Dunes
Just under two hours from Perth, this is your first stop for some adrenaline-fuelled fun! Try sandboarding, quad biking, or simply take in the white dunes against the blue sky.
BONUS TIP: You can rent a sandboard at the sand dunes for a small fee!

📍 Hutt Lagoon (Pink Lake)
This incredible bubblegum-pink lake near Port Gregory will blow your mind! The colour changes depending on the time of day, so try to visit when the sun is high for the brightest pink hues.
BONUS TIP: This lake is the perfect spot to put up your drone!

📍 Kalbarri National Park
Home to the iconic Nature’s Window and the jaw-dropping Z-Bend Gorge, Kalbarri is a haven for hikers and nature lovers. Make sure to check out the Skywalk for epic views over the Murchison River.
BONUS TIP: Visit the Kalbarri Skywalk at sunrise to avoid the heat and crowds!

📍 Shark Bay
This World Heritage-listed area is a paradise for wildlife lovers! Head to Monkey Mia to see the famous dolphins, explore the crystal-clear waters of Shell Beach, or enjoy the incredible landscapes of François Peron National Park.
