A fire broke out at a multi-storey building housing the Lemon Green Restaurant in the Hauz Rani locality of South Delhi's Malviya Nagar on Wednesday morning, leaving at least 20 people dead and eleven others severely injured. The deadly blaze erupted around 8:50 am, quickly engulfing the structure with thick plumes of dark smoke and trapping several individuals inside. The Delhi Fire Service received an emergency call at 9:45 am and immediately rushed a massive fleet of ten firefighting vehicles to the spot, including water tenders, water bowsers, and specialized quick response units.
