Hydroponics growing of pring onions in foam box. I put the sprouts in shade. They got sunlight 8 am to 10 am and 3 pm to 5 pm. for 9 days. They exploded to the sun all day after moving to outdoor (only the harvesting day I bought them in shade to make video.
To ativate roots I put only water. I used Hydroponic solution added in water when transfered to the box. A type is purple and B type is green. You much mix the A type to water first and wait for at least 10 minute and then B type. Make sure that you stir water while mixing. I put the fertilizer only once at the first day of transfering plants to the big boxes since the boxes are big enough to contain nutrient. I put just water when the water in the boxes lower until harvest. Be careful, when the plants grow up, they need more water.
Growing this way the bulb is smaller at first but it gets bigger then. I cut the leaves for many times and each harvesting, hydroponic solution is needed.
