According to Dr. Klotz, The Lord’s prayer begins with “Our Father,” a translation of the word, “Abba.” But the actual Aramaic transliteration is “Abwoon” which is a blending of “Abba (father)” and “woon” (womb), Jesus’s recognition of the masculine and feminine source of creation.

As far as correct pronunciation goes, Neil Douglas-Klotz says he used this formula:

"Eastern (Aramaic-speaking) Christians today (Assyrians, Arameans, Syrian, Orthodox, Church of the East) do not agree on the exact pronunciation of these words, but in fact actual differences are very slight. This pronunciation of the Aramaic prayer of Jesus is in a dialect that combines both the current Aramaic pronunciations with a 'tablespoon' of the ancient Hebrew intonation that Yeshua might have used. In fact, the actual differences are so slight a person of any language or background who learns the Lord's prayer could easily understand others and join in with their slight variation ". Also, it is stressed, even if the pronunciation is not exactly like Yeshua said it, at least we are arriving much closer to the way Jesus pronounced it than English ever will. One can feel the words, not just think them.
