How is Jewelry Made? Jewelry Manufacturing in Istanbul - Gold Casting Process

Описание: In this presentational video film, we show how jewelry is produced. The production place is Kuyumcukent Gold Center in Istanbul. The gold manufacturing workshop is Erturk Gold. This gold production facility has been dealing in the gold jewelry sector for 25 years. There are many steps that turn a piece of gold mine into magnificent jewelry. The bracelet, ring, earring, or necklace is first designed as a 3d model. Then it is printed as a 3d model after that rubber molds are prepared. The production process commences as wax models of the gold jewelry piece are injected. The beads and the other ornaments are attached to the wax model. The next step before casting the alloy is making the wax three. After completing the wax tree, it is placed into a ceramic mold, which is baked in a furnace. Baking the ceramic mold solidifies it as well as this process burns out the wax tree. Now the baked ceramic is a hard mold with the empty shape of the jewelry tree inside. The next step is casting the gold alloy. The casting process takes place in Unver Casting Workshop (Ünver Döküm). It is quickly cast by filling the ceramic with the mine alloy - in this case, Gold. The jewelry tree is removed out of the ceramic mold by high water pressure. We may describe A jewelry tree as a cluster of individual pieces of jewelry. They should be detached one by one from the tree. After that process, each piece of jewelry is handled separately through the process of repair and assembling. Then all the jewelry is passed through the process of polishing and finessing. Another crucial process in this process is the chemical wash; each piece of jewelry is washed in chemical labs. As the final step, the jewelry is delicately controlled and assorted accordingly. The collections are packed and delivered to the customers.
