Synopsis:

Amatya Rakshas suspects Chandragupta behind the attempt of robbery and reveals it to Dhananand. Chandragupta follows Chanakya's instructions and puts the blame on Chanakya behind the attempt of robbery. He also brings out the fact of Amatya Rakshas's failure to catch Chanakya. Dhananand declares that either Chandragupta will have to find Chanakya's whereabouts within a day or else he will have to die for raising a false accusation on Amatya Rakshas's capabilities. Later, Chanakya makes it clear to Chandragupta not to come for his rescue at any cost in order to gain his trust back.

அமத்ய ரா௧்க்ஷஸ் கொள்ளை முயற்சியின் பின்னணியில் சந்திரகுப்தாவை சந்தேகித்து அதை தனானந்தனிடம் வெளிப்படுத்துகிறார். சந்திரகுப்தா சாணக்யாவின் அறிவுறுத்தல்களைப் பின்பற்றி, கொள்ளை முயற்சிக்குப் பின்னால் சாணக்கியன் மீது பழியைப் போடுகிறார். அமத்ய ரா௧்க்ஷஸ் சாணக்யாவைப் பிடிக்கத் தவறிய உண்மையையும் அவர் வெளிப்படுத்துகிறார். சந்திரகுப்தா ஒரு நாளுக்குள் சாணக்யாவின் இருப்பிடத்தைக் கண்டுபிடிக்க வேண்டும் அல்லது அமத்ய ரா௧்க்ஷஸின் திறன்கள் மீது பொய்யான குற்றச்சாட்டை எழுப்பியதற்காக அவர் இறக்க நேரிடும் என்று தனானந்த் அறிவிக்கிறார். பின்னர், சந்திரகுப்தனின் நம்பிக்கையைத் திரும்பப் பெறுவதற்காக எந்த விலையிலும் தன்னைக் காப்பாற்ற வர வேண்டாம் என்று சாணக்யா தெளிவுப்படுத்துகிறார்.
