I bought a portable DVD player on eBay for $20. I started with a Sony DVP-FX96 only problem was it wouldn’t read discs. Of course that didn’t matter for this project. Since it’s a Sony brand the AC adapter for the PS2 fit the DVD player to charge it. The monitor is powered by its battery and I can easily get 6 hours of game play out of it. The USB is great for playing my backup DVD collection.
I made the bracket out of aluminum angle iron then painted it satin black.
