Production trio Disciples recorded the track in 2013 with Norwegian singer Ina Wrolsden laying down the vocals in one take. A couple of years later, the trio connected with Calvin Harris who added the finishing touches.

Disciples speak about how the song was leaked two days before its release, the feeling of charting in multiple countries, and seeing the track get a glossy music video featuring Gigi Hadid.
