Since I practice these two exrecises my control was improving a lot. Sometimes less is more and what seems to be so easy can be a lot more difficult than we think. Shooting your heli through the sky like a rocket is big fun but will not neccessarily give you more fine and very precise control over your machine. And these two things are very important if you want to fly safe - what means that you are always able to bring the heli exactly to the place where you want it to be! Please let me know in the comments if you find these two exercises helpful after trying them. Take your time and prepare yourself in the simulator first! This order of learning new stuff saved me a lot of crashes.
