My favorite conifer! All year round it's fun to look at its random, curvy and twisty growth! Because of its weird shape it does look quite well in the back of the Trachycarpus, Tetrapanax and bananas. It's also one of few conifers that will coppice successfully, but I've never tried that before. Maybe I will prune it next year in height if it gets to large and see how it responds...
