13th World Choir Games 2024 - Pa'teinde & Langkan Maega by PSM UNHAS

Описание: From July 9th to 16th, 2023, the Paduan Suara Mahasiswa Universitas Hasanuddin (PSM UNHAS) had the honor of representing Indonesia at the 13th World Choir Games in Auckland, New Zealand. This prestigious event brought together more than 300 participants from 42 countries, showcasing a diverse array of choral talents from around the globe.

PSM UNHAS delivered an impressive performance, presenting five culturally rich songs that highlight Indonesia's musical heritage. The songs performed were "Pa'teinde," "Langkan Maega," "Ininnawa," "Si Patokaan," and "Yamko Rambe Yamko." Each piece was delivered with passion, blending vocal excellence with intricate choreography, reflecting the choir's dedication to preserving and promoting folklore and indigenous music.

The hard work and dedication of the choir paid off immensely. PSM UNHAS was awarded the title of Champion of The World Choir Games, securing the 1st place Gold Medal in the Folklore and Indigenous Music with Choreography category with a stellar score of 91.50 points. Additionally, they earned the 1st Runner-Up position and a Gold Medal in the Folklore and Indigenous Music A Capella category, also with 91.50 points.

This remarkable achievement would not have been possible without the unwavering support and prayers of friends, family, and supporters. The entire PSM UNHAS team extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who believed in them and contributed to their success. They hope that this victory will be a stepping stone for even greater accomplishments in the future.
