Providing effective CPD for EAL across the whole school is a vital component of ensuring high-quality EAL provision in multilingual school contexts. However, the practicalities of training and developing school staff with a wide range of experience and expertise present many challenges.
This webinar features a panel discussion to explore how educators in different international school contexts have approached implementing effective CPD for EAL. EAL practitioners, Dalia Aljaibat (The Hamilton International School, Qatar) and Sharmilla Narkiran (HELP International School, Malaysia) discuss their experiences and the successes and challenges they have encountered.
By hearing first-hand accounts of how different schools have approached the challenges of providing EAL-focused training and development, participants will come away with practical ideas and inspiration that they can apply in their own setting.
