The Pelican Rope S-12 Synthetic Stainless Rope offers the benefits of stainless steel wire rope but at a fraction of the weight. This rope is constructed from a 12-strand single braid and made using proprietary Honeywell Spectra fiber enhanced with our own S-12 special coating.

Like stainless steel, the Synthetic Stainless Rope is hydrophobic; meaning that it will not absorb water or corrode. This rope has excellent chemical and abrasion resistance, and exceptional flex fatigue.

The S-12 Synthetic Stainless Rope can float and maintains strength even in freezing temperatures. It has an excellent low-temperature performance with a melting point at 300° F and loss of strength at 150° F.

This rope is ideal for steel cable replacement, marine lines, rigging lines, utility lines, winch lines, mooring lines, and barge lines.
