A rugged off-track hike from Puriri Park to State Highway 14 following a quiet stream the whole way. No formed trail, slippery footing, and water well over the boots meant wet feet from the start — but the isolation, calm, and natural beauty made it worth every step. A peaceful slice of raw Northland nature.
