Gunther vs. Standard Propellers: Which Gives More Thrust & Power? (RC Plane Test)

Описание: In my previous video I showed how to fit the Gunther props as an alternative to the somewhat weak standard Eachine / Volantex/ XK propellers. This follow up video shows the numbers!

🚀 Gunther Props vs. Standard Props – The video compares Gunther propellers to standard propellers on small 400mm foam planes, focusing on power consumption and thrust differences.
⚖️ Thrust Rig Setup – A thrust rig is used to measure grams of force, powered by a 4V power supply.
🔍 Half-Throttle Measurements – At half-throttle, the standard prop generates 42g of thrust at 2.07A (8W), while the Gunther prop achieves the same thrust at 2.46A (10W), consuming more power.
🔥 Full-Throttle Performance – The standard prop reaches 56g thrust at 2.677A (~10W), while the Gunther prop reaches 61g thrust at 3.745A (~15W), showing more power draw for a modest thrust increase.
✈️ Impact on Flight Performance – The 5g thrust increase is significant for lightweight planes, especially during aerobatics like loops and rolls.
🛠 Durability & Practicality – Gunther props might be more durable than standard flex props and offer extra thrust when needed.
