In 2012, there were around 1,400 tigers across the country.
At one time, tigers used to be found in Hazaribagh.
Hazaribagh Wildlife Sanctuary is located about 18 km away from Hazaribagh on NH-33. The sanctuary was once home to many kinds of wild animals.
Gradually, as the population kept increasing, all the wildlife began to disappear.
Let us now see what condition the Hazaribagh Wildlife Sanctuary is in today.
