A return to the Matlock branch to have a look at Whatstandwell station and it's access to the Cromford Canal, a brief walk along the towpath with views of the original Whatstandwell station platforms then on to Ambergate for a quick look around. Ambergate is a shadow of its former self of course, the once triangular station now reduced to a single platform.
