Right in the middle of our New Year preparations, the water suddenly went out.
What could have been a disaster turned into something I’ll never forget.
Our neighbours showed up, plans changed, cultures mixed, and the night took a completely unexpected turn ❤️
I cooked a traditional Norwegian New Year’s dish (Creamy Cheese Potatoes / Potato Dauphinoise) 🇳🇴, shared it with our neighbours, and we welcomed the new year together in the most Ghanaian way 🇬🇭🥂
