I discuss the key differences between capital and revenue expenditure.
We can think of capital expenditure as concerning long-term acquisitions of assets, or spending which improves the earning capacity of existing assets.
Revenue expenditure refers to spending for trade purposes, or that which maintains the earning capacity of assets.
