The video includes scenes from seasons 1 to 7 of the Starz TV-Show Outlander. As the song title suggests, it's about Jamie & Claire's constant fear of losing each other again. They know life without their loved one and are therefore even more afraid of living in loneliness and darkness again. And life puts many obstacles in their way, be it grudges, illness or war. Perhaps this is the price they pay for ignoring the laws of time and space.
Since I came across a male cover version of the song, I created two videos. This one from Claire's perspective, the other one from Jamie's. Which do you like better?
