Part 2 of my trip out to Clifton Forge on May 9th for National Train Day and the C&O Historical Society's Allegheny Railroad Heritage Festival.
After the GP9 got its exercise, the live steam big guns came out in the form of a B&O Pacific and a C&O 2-6-6-6 'Allegheny'. The duo doubleheaded around the track a few times before the Allegheny was let loose on its own. Sadly, I did not get the doubleheader on tape as it occurred during lunch - hey, a railfan's gotta eat too, you know.
The Allegheny circled a few times with a string of freight cars before switching to hauling passengers. The last part of the clip shows the view of the track from the replica of JD Cabin.
